Just came home from a week in Georgia with all but the youngest-Jackson Lawson. Twelve Lawson's in total and it was a real get to gather. Big delicious turkey day on Thursday, with all the fixins. Pretty good weather down south, especially towards the last of the short week. Golf was to be had, and Tuesday the whole clan went out for a night on the Savanna town-barhopping. Fishing was bountiful, and in total I caught 15 fish, 5 crabs, 1 eel and about 75 shrimp. All of the fish were caught in a shrimping net, with the exception of two kitty cat fish. Also did some oyster eating, as seen in picture, which was a first for me. All in all it was a good vacation. Happy to see all my Lawson relatives and spend some quality time with them.

Week day life...
Seems like any one who is any one has to make it through the weekday push. Once the beloved weekend finally arrives it comes and goes with much haste. Getting cold here and it seems I am always stoking the fire. I awoke Monday to discover the late fall chill crept into my house. 60 degrees in the living room; even colder in the basement which is where I call my room. I look forward to the winter season. Even though I'm broke, I hope to make a plethora of ski trips.
